1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Africa Meat Expo platform at meatexpo.airmeat.africa, registering for the Africa Meat Expo 2026 event, or engaging with our services in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform or services.

Africa Meat Expo is a sister entity of AirMeat, operated by AirMeat (Pty) Ltd under South African law.

2. Event Description

Africa Meat Expo 2026 is a single-event exhibition taking place at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Gqeberha, South Africa. Our platform provides:

  • Event registration and ticket purchasing
  • Organization verification and membership management
  • Exhibition stand allocation and booking
  • Sponsorship package management
  • Add-on services and enhancements
  • Ticket distribution and check-in systems
  • B2B and B2C event management tools

We reserve the right to add, remove, or modify features, packages, and services to improve the event experience.

3. User Accounts and Registration

Account Types

Our platform supports two user categories:

Independent Attendees: Individual users not affiliated with an organization

Organization Members: Users representing sponsors, exhibitors, government bodies, buyers, or SMEs

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and current information
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Ensuring you have authority to represent any organization you claim affiliation with

Organization Verification

Organizations undergo a verification process that may include:

  • Email domain verification
  • Payment confirmation
  • Manual review by system administrators

Misrepresenting organizational affiliation may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Membership and Access Control

Organization Roles

Organization Admin: Can manage bookings, assign tickets, approve members, and update organization details

Organization Member: Has limited access to organization resources

Membership Approval

Users with email domains matching a verified organization are automatically approved. Others require admin approval. We reserve the right to reject membership requests that appear fraudulent or unauthorized.

5. Tickets and Bookings

Ticket Types

We offer various ticket categories including Standard Tickets, Business Passes, and VIP Access, each with different access levels and benefits.

Ticket Allocation

  • Sponsorship packages include allocated tickets
  • Tickets may be claimed using unique claim tokens
  • All tickets include QR codes for event check-in
  • Tickets are non-transferable except through our official claim system

Booking Terms

  • All bookings are subject to availability
  • Exhibition stand allocations are confirmed only after payment and verification
  • Stand assignments must meet minimum size requirements
  • Package purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by South African consumer protection law

6. Payments and Billing

Payment Processing

  • Payments are processed through secure third-party providers
  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated
  • Payment confirms your booking subject to verification
  • VAT is included where applicable

Refund Policy

Refunds are handled in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act. Requests must be submitted in writing to support@airmeat.co.za.

7. Exhibition Stands

Stand Allocation

  • Stands are assigned based on package requirements and availability
  • Double-booking is prevented through our allocation system
  • Stand assignments cannot be modified without approval
  • Organizations must comply with all exhibitor guidelines

Stand Availability

We do not guarantee specific stand locations. Assignments are made on a first-come, first-served basis within the constraints of package requirements.

8. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • Provide false or misleading information
  • Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • Interfere with platform availability or security
  • Use the platform for illegal, fraudulent, or abusive purposes
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Share or resell tickets outside our official systems
  • Misuse claim tokens or check-in credentials

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and materials on our platform are owned by AirMeat (Pty) Ltd or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of our platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Event Access and Conduct

Check-In Requirements

  • Valid ticket and government-issued ID required for entry
  • QR code scanning is mandatory for all attendees
  • Check-ins are recorded for compliance and security

Conduct Expectations

Attendees must comply with venue rules, health and safety regulations, and event guidelines. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals who violate these standards.

12. Disclaimers

The platform and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted or error-free platform operation
  • Complete accuracy of all information
  • Availability of specific packages or stands
  • That the event will occur as scheduled (subject to force majeure)

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AirMeat (Pty) Ltd and Africa Meat Expo shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Personal injury or property damage not caused by our negligence
  • Events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure)

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for services in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment of fees
  • Security threats or abuse
  • Violation of South African law

You may stop using our services at any time. Termination does not affect obligations already incurred.

15. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation or the appropriate South African courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as our services and legal requirements evolve. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

The "Last Updated" date indicates when these Terms were last modified.

17. General Provisions

Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.

Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights to affiliates or successors.
